Sania Mirza in Forest Hills Classic finals

Posting a straight set victory over Alexa Glatch 6-4, 6-4, India's Sania Mirza entered the finals of the Forest Hills Classic women's tennis tournament being held in New York. In the finals, Sania Mirza will be facing Czech Republic's Lucie Safarova.

If Sania Mirza wins the finals as well, it would be her second WTA tournament victory. The Indian had won the Hyderabad Open tournament held earlier this year.

A win would also make Sania Mirza's confidence soar, ahead of the final grand slam of the year - the US Open championships.
