Sania Mirza meets qualifier in the first round of Sunfeast Open

India'a hope for its second WTA trophy, Sania Mirza has a relatively easy draw scheduled in the Sunfeast open beginning Monday in Kolkata, India. Sania will be meeting a qualifier in the first round. She will also be facing much lower ranked players than her in the subsequent rounds.

If things go according to the seeding, third seed Sania Mirza will be up against seventh seed Carolina Sprem in the quarter-finals and second seed Elena Likhovtseva of Russia in the semi-finals.

The other Indian hopes in this tournament are Shikha Uberoi, ranked 151, and her younger sister Neha, a wildcard entry.
