Sania Mirza begins Sunfeast Open campaign in style

India's Sania Mirza had an easy outing in the first round of the Sunfeast Open, when she beat 23 year old Japanese qualifier Junri Namigata in straight sets 6-2 6-2. The Indian broke her opponent twice in each set to enter the second round.

However, the post-match conference saw the scribes pointing out to Sania that she had made lots of unforced errors. "You guys are never satisfied", was Sania's reply. Sania conceeded that it was a close game, with many deuces and there was a time when the Indian could have gone down 1-3 in the opening set.

Sania Mirza will now be facing Melinda Czink of Hungary in her second round match. Czink beat Melinda Czink of Argentina in her first round match.
