Sania Mirza creates history, enters fourth round of US Open

Sania Mirza today created history by becoming the first Indian player to enter the fourth round of any grand slam tennis tournament.

The Indian made short work of Maria Bartoli by beating her 7-6 6-4 in just over an hour and a half. In her fourth round match, Sania Mirza will be facing Maria Sharapova, should the Russian win her third round match.
