Sania Mirza through to the quarter-finals

Sania Mirza scored an easy victory over Japan's Aiko Nakamura in her second round match to secure a place in the quarter finals of the Japan Open being held in Tokyo. Sania won the match 6-1, 6-4.

In a match that was postponed due to heavy rains, Sania was at her best displaying an array of shots to trash her opponent.

Sania is scheduled to meed top seed Vera Zvonareva of Russia in her quarter-final match.
