Sania Mirza's rankings up: Singles - 31, Doubles - 114

Owing to fine performances in both the singles and the doubles events in the Japan Open, Sania Mirza's rankings went up in both forms of the game.

Her singles ranking zoomed up six places to a career best of 31. Her doubles rankings also went up to reach 114.

Sania had reached the semi-finals of both the singles and the doubles events in the recently concluded Japan Open.
