Sania Mirza pulls out of Rogers Cup

In her endeavour to remain totally fit for the US Open to held later this month, Sania Mirza pulled out of the USD1.3 million Rogers Cup to be held in Toronto, Canada due to a minor stomach pull.

The Rogers Cup is scheduled from 13-21 August 2005, ahead of the US Open which begins from the 29th.

"There?s nothing to worry. It?s a minor ailment and she will be well. What she needs is rest to increase her fitness level," Sania Mirza's father said.
